2. Enforced Standards for HV‑Cables

Main performance standard: ST‑RK‑IEC‑60502‑2‑2019 (identical with IEC‑60502‑2‑2014 for 6‑35 kV extruded‑insulation cables).

Fire‑safety standard: GOST‑31565‑2012 (flame‑retardant, low‑smoke‑zero‑halogen LSZH requirement for grid‑projects).

Climate‑condition standard: GOST‑15150‑69 (XL‑50℃ low‑temperature test is mandatory for Siberia‑climate zones of Kazakhstan).

EMC standard: GOST‑CISPR‑11‑2015 for shielded high‑voltage cables.

3. Two Available GOST‑K Certification Schemes for HV‑Cables

Scheme‑1: Single‑batch Certificate (Партийный сертификат)

Valid scope: Only for one‑specific export contract, fixed quantity and consignment; invalid for future shipments.

Requirements:

Document‑review only; factory‑audit is NOT required;

Provide contract, pro‑forma invoice, packing list, Russian‑language technical‑dossier and existing type‑test‑reports; partial‑tests may be waived;

Suitable‑scenario: One‑time project‑based export to Kazakhstan.

Lead‑time: 4‑6 weeks, lower‑cost.

Scheme‑2: Serial‑production long‑term GOST‑K CoC‑Certificate (1‑year or 3‑year validity, high‑risk mode)

Applicable‑scenario: Mass‑production and repeated‑supply for Kazakhstan national‑grid, long‑term regular export.

Compulsory requirements:

Complete type‑testing for HV‑cables in Kazakhstan‑accredited laboratories following ST‑RK‑IEC‑60502‑2‑2019;

Factory‑audit is mandatory:

1‑year certificate: 1 Kazakhstan‑authorized expert conducts on‑site factory‑audit in China;

3‑year certificate: two‑experts perform factory‑audit, plus annual surveillance‑audit and yearly‑product‑sampling test throughout the validity period;

ISO9001‑2015 certificate is a prerequisite;

After‑approval: Electronic GOST‑K certificate with QR‑code is issued and registered in KazStandard official database; paper‑version certificate is not accepted after‑2025.

Lead‑time: 8‑12 weeks including sample‑testing and factory‑audit.

4. Mandatory Document Checklist (All files need Russian‑or‑Kazakh‑language notarized translation)
