TR EAEU 042/2017 On safety of children's playgrounds  EAC认证 CUTR认证

The technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union TR EAEU 042/2017 On safety of children's playgrounds contains the binding safety requirements for playground equipment, floor coverings for children's playgrounds, as well as rules for their project planning, assembly, use, transport, and recycling.

Application area

The technical rules apply to the playground equipment and floor coverings introduced for the first time into the EAEU, both for the exterior and interior.

The TR EAEU 042/2017 does not apply to:

• attractions (see EAEU 038/2016 On safety of attractions)

• toys (see TR CU 008/2011 On safety of toys)

• sports equipment used for sports, fitness or tourist purposes

The conformity assessment process

The TR EAEU 042/2017 On safety of children’s playgrounds contains two forms of conformity assessment:

1. EAC Certificate und

2. EAC Declaration

EAC Certificate applies to:

• slips

• rocks

• bobs

• carousels

• climbing plants

• play towers

• plastic coverings and rubber covers for sports fields and playgrounds

EAC Declaration applies to:

• sandboxes

• children's houses

• labyrinths

• flooring made of sand, gravel and wood

EAC Marking

The products certified according to TR EAEU 042/2017 must be marked with the EAC marking before launching on the market. The marking shall be attached to each unit. The marking must be attached in such a way that it is easily recognizable and readable throughout the period of use.

The validity period of EAC Certificate and EAC Declaration

The EAC Certificate and EAC Declaration are issued for serial production for 5 years.
