GOST establishes a unified impersonal classification system for the designation of products and their design documents during the development, manufacture, operation and repair. The formation of the safety justification number is as follows: ABVG-XXXXXX-XXXOB, where ABVG is the 4-digit letter code of the organization that developed the design documents, XXXXXX is the code according to the ESKD classifier, XXX is the serial number, OB is the type of document.
