4. Certification Schemes Explanation
CoC Schemes (Suffix C)
1C: Serial mass production (most popular) — lab test + factory audit + annual surveillance
2C: Serial production with valid ISO 9001 — simplified audit
3C: Single batch certification — test only, no audit, one shipment only
4C: Single unique custom machine, one-time use
9C: Spare parts/components for certified main equipment
DoC Schemes (Suffix D)
1D: Serial production, factory internal test reports acceptable (lowest cost, most used)
2D: Single batch declaration, no mandatory lab test
3D: Serial production, mandatory accredited lab test (buyers often request)
6D: Serial production with ISO 9001 QMS
5. Shared Mandatory Rules for Both CoC & DoC
No Chinese factory as direct holder
Must appoint an EAEU registered legal entity as Authorized Representative; Russian LLC recommended for Russian border clearance (2026 customs policy). Notarized Russian power of attorney is required.
Unified EAC marking requirement
Square EAC logo min height ≥5mm, permanent on product/packaging; traceable QR code linked to FGIS registry mandatory in Russia.

Validity logic
Batch document = only valid for one single shipment; serial document allows unlimited shipments within 1–5 years.
