GOST R / GOST-K / GOST-B Certification Full Explanation General Background GOST originates from Soviet Union national standards. After the USSR dissolved, each EAEU member built its independent national GOST certification system, marked with country suffix letters: R = Russia → GOST R K = Kazakhstan → GOST-K B = Belarus → GOST-B Core Overarching Rule (2026 Valid) If your product falls under any TR CU EAEU unified technical regulation (low voltage, machinery, toys, EMC, PPE etc.) → EAC certificate is mandatory for all 5 EAEU countries; GOST R / K / B cannot replace EAC, customs will detain goods if only national GOST is provided. If your product has no corresponding TR CU regulation coverage (special railway gear, high-voltage above 1kV, specific fertilizers, special coatings, unique measuring instruments):
